pH indicator paper is a simple and convenient tool used to measure the acidity or alkalinity of a substance.
It changes colour in response to the pH level of the solution it is dipped into, allowing for quick and easy identification of whether a solution is acidic, neutral, or basic. Drop a little of the brine onto a strip of the yellow paper, the colour will change depending on the acid level, then compare with the colour chart to know the acid level.

How to use the colour chart:
1 is acidic,  7 is basic (neutral),  14 is alkaline.

pH indicator paper is used to check the acid level of a ferment, when the acid level is 4 or less it is at the ideal level for consumption.
Whether testing the pH of soil, water, fermented food, the easy to use, pH indicator paper provides a reliable and accurate way to determine the acidity or alkalinity of a solution.
